Editorial independence comes first

Commercial relationships do not determine the topics we cover, the products we consider or the conclusions we reach. Products are not selected merely because they are popular, expensive, highly rated or pay a higher commission. Reader usefulness and suitability come before commercial value.

A product can receive promotional affiliate placement only after it meets our documented AHC Product Research standard and is separately approved for affiliate use. The surrounding guide must remain useful if a reader does not use the link.

Research, not implied testing

Unless a guide explicitly states what Australian Home Collective tested and how, we have not personally tested the product. Our assessments are based on research, including relevant manufacturer and warranty documents, independent expert or technical reviews, recurring owner-feedback themes, Australian availability and support, and regulator or recall checks where relevant.
